The Northern Ireland Policing Board has commenced a recruitment campaign to appoint a number of new Assistant Chief Constables to join the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) Service Executive Team.
Supporting the Chief Constable, Deputy Chief Constable and a newly created Chief Operating Officer role in the delivery of policing, the ACCs will each will play a key leadership role as a member of the PSNI Service Executive Team (SET).
The role of ACC provides a unique opportunity to contribute at a strategic leadership level whilst also holding responsibility for delivering operational policing. The Board is seeking candidates with extensive operational command and leadership experience, can work collaboratively and at pace, responding in a highly complex and fast-moving work environment.
The competition opens on Friday 3 April and the closing date for applications is 12 noon on Monday 27 April 2020.
