In the context of the three Strategic Outline Cases for PSNI’s ambitious transformation programme, to provide assurance that he will request that any funding received from the Executive and HM Treasury following approval of the transformation strands will be ring-fenced and used for its intended purpose.
Any funding associated with the approval of the transformation programmes will be used for these specific purposes. Regardless of the level and type of funding made available, I am clear that we will seek to prioritise the police budget to progress our transformational plans.
