Policing Plan & Annual Performance Plan

Draft Policing Plan 2025-2030

The draft Policing Plan 2025-2030 sets out how the Board and PSNI want to deliver and improve policing in Northern Ireland.

The three outcomes proposed in this Plan are:

  • PSNI is victim focused
  • We have safe and engaged communities with confidence in policing
  • PSNI has a representative, valued and enabled workforce

Before the Plan is finalised, we engage with groups, organisations and individuals across Northern Ireland to make sure that it considers the views of everyone.

The draft Policing Plan 2025-2030 consultation was open between 17 September 2024 and 10 December 2024 and had four questions designed to let you have your say:

  • Do you agree with our Outcomes for policing?
  • What will tell us that PSNI is victim focused?
  • What will tell us that we have safe and engaged communities with confidence in policing?
  • What will tell us that PSNI has a representative, valued and enabled workforce?

Previous Policing Plans

The previous Policing Plan ran from 2020-2025 with Annual Performance Plans published to enable the Board and PSNI to respond to any new or emerging issues.

Annual Assessments were also published to measure PSNI’s performance against the Outcomes, Measures and Indicators within the Plan.
